Minnesota Legislature Authorizes Funds for Life-Saving Drug

Willmar, recipe Minn. -- Members of the Steve Rummler Hope Foundation joined Senate Majority Whip Chris Eaton, here DFL-Brooklyn Center, and Assistant Majority Leader Rep. Dave Baker, R-Willmar, at a press conference July 24 in Willmar to highlight a new law that provides funding to train and equip first responders with naloxone -- brand name Narcan -- an opiate antidote that reverses an overdose when administered in a timely fashion.
